Gyanmata Educational Society Khanvel, founded by the Pilar Fathers, has been pioneering rural education since the last four decades and more. Beginning with establishing Marathi Medium schools for the local adivasis, to starting English Medium education through the Gyanmata English School Khanvel, Gyanmata Educational Society has been in the forefront in addressing the need for the development of the people.
Gyanmata English High School Khanvel, following in the footsteps of its parent body, the Gyanmata Educational Society Khanvel, has been a pioneer in bringing English medium education to the Adivasi belt of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Since its inception, the school has been tireless in its efforts of providing good education to the people of the area. Time has flown by and today with 950 students on its rolls, the Gyanmata English School Khanvel is now entering into its 25th year of pioneering endeavour.
